Description
The Corum Classical Artisan series timepieces are Corum's way of showing off. The dials feature hand painted natural scenes. Most artisan series watches are limited to 50 pieces of each dial version. This Artisan Flower watch is a unique piece - only one watch exists in blue. While the pictures tell much of the story about any watch, they fall short of showing just how spectacular and vivid this Classical Artisan watch really is.
Case is 18k white gold with dimensions of 41.5mm diameter by 11.5mm thick. Sapphire crystals front and back.
The case features diamond lugs and bezel, and the dial is heavily accented with diamonds. The watch features 289 diamonds with a combined 3.87 carat weight, and eight sapphires with a .20 carat weight. The dial also features mother of pearl, along with the hand painted flower scene. The crown features a large diamond cabochon.
Corum did things right in terms of the movement. They selected the C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer grade ETA Caliber 2892 with 21 jewels. The ETA 2892 movement is one of the finest automatic calibers made, and is often disguised by other elite Swiss brands using their own caliber designations. In the recent book "The Watch" by Gene Stone, the ETA 2892 is ranked as the third best time-only caliber in production from any manufacturer.
Strap is a hand-sewn, blue lacquered crocodile with diamond embellished 18k white gold deployant clasp.
