Patek Philippe produces several styles of ladies' watches. With the exception of this reference 4856, if a lady wanted to wear a complicated Patek, she had to go with a men's size watch. Unfortunately, Patek has discontinued the reference 4856. This watch is in new condition.
Case is 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 26mm diameter by 7.5 mm thick. Crown is set with a blue sapphire cabochon.
Dial is white and lacquered with applied Breguet style arabic numerals and leaf hands. Subsidiary seconds dial at 8 o'clock and moonphase display at 4 o'clock.
Movement is the Patek Philippe Caliber 16 250 PS LU which is manually winding. Caliber also features 18 jewels, 4 bridges, power reserve of 38 hours, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and stamped with the Geneva Seal.
Strap is blue Patek leather and shows some wear, with 18k gold Patek buckle.
Why Patek discontinued this watch is beyond me... it is beautiful and economical.
