Description
This Blancpain Leman Split Seconds Flyback chronograph is one heck of a handsome wristwatch. The dial is perfectly balanced, and provides the time telling indications in a clean and legible manner, and also looks great with the black color being enlivened by the luminous color and also the subtle red tips of the two chronograph hands. The case is massive, at 40.5mm in diameter, and the construction is a benchmark for quality that all other manufacturers should aspire to.
Steel case dimensions are 40.5mm diameter by 13.7mm thick. Sapphire front and display back crystals. All three chronograph pushers screw down as does the crown, which provides water resistance to 100 meters. The caseback screws down and is massive. Review the pictures below, and you will notice that Blancpain makes the nicest watch case in the business. The details are executed perfectly, and the overall impression and quality are remarkable.
Movement is the Blancpain automatic winding Caliber F186 with 38 jewels, power reserve of 40 hours and 365 individual parts. The chronograph features both Flyback and Split Seconds complications. The flyback permits instant resetting to zero without requiring three separate steps (stop, reset and restart). The split seconds permits the timing of two different, simultaneous events.
Strap is excellent quality, padded black crocodile with Blancpain deployant clasp.
