FRANCK MULLER COLOR DREAMS CRAZY HOURS 5850 CH 18K

After several years of collecting "serious" watches, I noticed that my collection was comprised mostly of somber looking watches. It's great to own some of watchdom's holiest pieces, but it's also nice to have some fun too. No doubt, fun is what Franck Muller had in mind when he designed the Crazy Hours "Color Dreams". If you are not familiar with how this watch works, the minute hand functions normally while the hour hand keeps time by jumping between positions to indicate the hour (look at the relative positions of the "1" the "2" the "3" etc. to envision what I mean).

Case is solid 18k white gold with dimensions 41.5mm long by 35mm wide by 12mm thick. Anatomically curved for comfort. Curved sapphire crystal. Water resistant to 25 meters.

Dial is silver with guilloche and very faint numerals hidden in the backgraound. Large, colorful arabic numerals (out of sequence for the jumping hour hand). Hands have luminous.

Movement is a premium quality Franck Muller automatic caliber.
