For your consideration is a vintage , circa 1940’s, stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Bubble Back, ref 2940, in mint condition.
This Rolex features an unusual black California dial with a race car image.
The stainless steel case measures 32mm x 14mm, excluding the screw-down oyster crown.
The selfwinding chronometer movement, caliber 630, size NA, 9-3/4 lignes, is very clean and in smooth running condition, keeping time.
This is a very nice early Rolex Bubbleback, which would be a great addition to any vintage watch collection.
