Description
The Leopard Daytona, also known as the Safari, is without question the most daringly designed watch from Rolex. Its leopard pattern dial is repeated on the strap, its bezel is set with 36 baguette cognac sapphires and between the lugs are set with 48 round diamonds (24 on each side of case). Rolex made very few of these watches, and finding a new one with original factory plastic still adhered is an almost impossible task.
Case is 18k gold with 40mm diameter, sapphire crystal, screw down crown and screw down chronograph pushers.
Original Leopard print dial with applied diamond hour markers and gold subdials. Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 4130 with 44 jewels. Rolex built the best chronograph caliber in the business, with both accurate timekeeping and ease of servicing in mind. This movement also incorporates Rolex’s considerable technological advancements since the caliber was introduced in the year 2000. Movement is also a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
