Description

Note that this is an automatic watch. Finding the manual winding version of this watch is much more common than the automatic.

I really like the Sympathie watch case from Roger Dubuis. If Franck Muller can establish a brand on a tonneau case, and Daniel Roth can get rich from his “double ellipse” case, then surely Roger Dubuis deserves kudos, at least, for the Sympathie’s attractiveness and elegance. Now add a bi-retrograde perpetual calendar automatic winding movement with the Geneva Seal and make it in 18k rose gold and you have a great watch!

Case is solid 18k rose gold with dimensions of 37.5mm long (48mm long lug tip to lug tip) by 36mm wide by 10.4mm thick. Case finishing combines mirror and brush finishes to excellent effect. Sapphire crystals front and back. Strap is secured with screws.

Dial is white with retrograde day and date displays. Month and leap year display in top subdial and moonphase display at 6 o’clock.

Movement is the automatic winding Roger Dubuis Caliber 5772 with 29 jewels and adjusted to five positions. Movement is stamped with the ulta prestigious Geneva Seal.

Premium brown Roger Dubuis alligator strap with 18k Roger Dubuis tang buckle.
Watch is in 99% new condition with a (really nice) Roger Dubuis box.
