Description
Collectors are crazy for these Daytonas with the Zenith El Primero movement. Rolex will never make them again, and while these are semi-vintage for now, they have a warmth that the brand new models do not. The fact that this is 18k yellow gold imparts a warmth all its own, as gold is wont to do. This piece has the super rare porcelain dial, which collectors are also in love with. Go look around for another 16528 with porcelain dial! What a great watch!
The heavy 18k yellow gold case measures 40 mm in diameter, excluding the screw down crown and pushers, and features a solid gold bezel with 400-60 (km/h) tachymeter scale. The crystal is sapphire. The automatic movement inside this classic is the Zenith El Primero CAL 400 (ROLEX 4030), which ticks at 36,600 beats per hour, assuring great accuracy.
This Daytona is in mint condition and everything, including all chronograph functions, works as it should.
