Lately, we are getting superlative quality vintage Rolex watches that frankly are some of the nicest examples of the various models/references that we have ever seen.
This watch is the most desirable vintage Rolex Explorer II imaginable – perfectly even cream color dial in perfect condition and it’s a rail dial to boot. The dial is in perfect, original condition as are the hands. This color dial is now also called an ivory dial.
Serial number 9582XXX dates production to 1987.
Original case is in mint plus condition with even and fat lugs. It’s in perfect original condition really – practically new old stock, 99.5% new. Original bezel has its original sharp edge and is equally perfect. Case is water resistant to 100 meters and features a perfectly functioning screw down crown.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3085 with 27 jewels and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet is Rolex Oyster reference 78360 with 12 links.
