Description
Warning: you will not be able to get this watch out of your mind, now that you have found it.
Whoever does NOT buy this watch will be haunted by it for a long time. Killer nice and super rare with its two tone stainless steel and 18k rose gold case (with its original unaltered finish) and a dial you that is so pretty that it hurts.
What more can I say? Yes, itβs THAT nice.
Original case has a stainless steel body and case back with 18k rose gold bezel and winding crown. The entire bezel is polished as are the tops of the lugs, while the case sides and case back are brush finished.
The case is never polished and retains its original factory finish.
Original movement is the manual winding Caliber 12βββ 120 adjusted to 5 positions, heat, cold and isochronism. Movement is stamped with the Geneva Seal.
Original dial is silvered and subtly brushed with embossed hour and minutes chapter and applied rose gold hour markers. The subsidiary seconds dial features sector dial style printed seconds chapter and original rose gold seconds hand.
Original rose gold dauphine hands. The dial has developed a patina. This dial is original and untouched.
Strap is vintage black Patek alligator with 18k rose gold Patek buckle.
Watch will be accompanied by its Extract from the Archives which reveals a production year of 1942 and sales date of December 17, 1942.
Although I am a man of words, words can not convey just how beautiful this watch is in person.
