Description
This Patek Philippe reference 4980G lady’s Gondolo Gamma is inspired by watches from the 1930s with its art deco case shape and faceted sapphire crystal. This watch is the best of both worlds, actually, retro/vintage good looks coupled with modern materials and technology.
Case is 18k white gold, which is mirror polished, with dimensions of 37.5mm wide by 22mm tall by 8.6mm thick. Again, the crystal is faceted, which was popular in the 1920s and 1930s. Movement is the premium quality Patek Philippe quartz caliber E 15 for highly accurate and trouble free timekeeping.
Dial is mother of pearl with silver color. The center of the dial has guilloche engraving while the periphery of the dial has a minutes chapter. The hands are blued sword style.
Strap is purplish mahogany Patek crocodile with an 18k white gold tang buckle.
