Description
The reference 1680 Submariner is just so nice looking, with its high sitting acrylic crystal and matte dial. Its profile is unique in the Submariner lineage and very pleasing. This example is a particularly nice one, in mint plus condition, with a beautiful and even patina across the hour markers and original hands.
Original case is stainless steel with dimensions of 39.5mm diameter by 14.5mm thick. The original crystal is perfectly clean and the case is also very clean. The screw down TripLock crown is operating perfectly.
Original black dial is untouched and perfect. The patina on the hour markers and hands is just exquisite. Date window at 3 o’clock.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions and for temperature. The movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet is the Rolex Oyster reference 93150 with 11 links and is in mint plus condition.
