Description
First of all, yellow dial watches are lots of fun. Second, Breitling makes great chronographs, usually with a pilot’s needs in mind. This Chronomat Longitude watch bears the Breitling model number A2004812D, and sports a second hour hand for tracking a second timezone. The second hour hand can be set independently of the regular hour hand. The chronograph features a 30 minute and 12 hour totalizer subdial, date and a 360 degree scale on the flange for longitudinal navigation purposes.
Case is classic Breitling with its onion shaped crown, which screws down. The chronograph pushers are also onion style. The bezel features Breitling’s cardinal point riders and a 12 hour scale, which allows for tracking a third timezone. Dimensions are 40mm diameter by 14.5mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. Case back features an engraved globe. Case is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the automatic winding Breitling Caliber 20, which is a modified Valjoux 7750.
Bracelet is Breitling stainless steel with flip lock clasp and will fit up to a 7.75 inch wrist.
Watch is in new condition and complete with box and papers.
