ROLEX 116520 DAYTONA CHRONOGRAPH PVD

If you have seen pictures of Hollywood celebrities wearing a Rolex Daytona lately, there’s a good chance it is blackened like this one is. We bough this watch right off someone’s wrist! It’s a recent Rolex Daytona with Rolex caliber, and is guaranteed 100% authentic Rolex.

The case is blackened stainless steel with dimensions of 40mm diameter by 12.8mm thick. The black is applied with a process called “PVD” which is basically a thick black coating that is sprayed onto the watch. The watch and bracelet are disassembled first, so that all of the nooks and crannies get a thick coating. The crystal is sapphire. Crown and chronograph pushers screw down. Water resistant to 100 meters. Bracelet is the original Oyster with 11 links which will fit up to a 7.25 inch wrist. Bezel is engraved with the Units per Hour scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’.

Movement is the outstanding Rolex automatic winding Caliber 4130. Rolex designed and built this caliber as the best chronograph movement that could be manufactured. They concentrated on technical excellence (long lubrication life, long service intervals and minimizing friction), timekeeping excellence (C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer) and serviceability (the watchmakers can service and/or repair the caliber easily).

The dial is the original and unmodified black color with applied hour markers with inlaid luminous and luminous hands. There are 30 minute and 12 hour chronograph totalizer subdials along with a running seconds subdial.
