Description
Here is a special, long discontinued Breitling Duograph in 18k yellow gold and stainless steel, which was produced as the “Montre Officiel Duograph World Cup” and has the emblem of the World Cup of Aerobatics below 12 o’clock.
The watch features Breitling’s famous bezel with the four golden riders at the cardinal positions. Given the bezel with 360 degree scale, people smarter than me can use this as a solar compass.
The white dial displays, in addition to the time and date, a GMT 24 hour hand that can be used as a GMT function or second timezone function (which is what Breitling intends). The subdial displays a second date, which is used with the time indicated by the GMT hand. The window at 9 o’clock is an AM/PM indicator for the local. timezone (indicated by the regular hands and date window). So basically, the watch lets you track local time and date and AM/PM and a second timezone and date in that timezone.
Movement is the automatic winding Breitling Caliber 15.
Strap is black Breitling calf skin with folding steel Breitling deployant clasp.
Watch is in mint condition and will be delivered with original box and papers.
