Description

This is a wonderful and highly collectable vintage Patek Philippe wristwatch from 1950. The 18k gold case has an hourglass shape – rectangular but with concave sides. The condition of this watch is 100% original and untouched and mint+ and the watch will be delivered with its Extract from the Archives.

Solid 18k gold case is 40mm long by 21mm wide at the narrowest point by 10.5mm thick. Crystal is faceted acrylic. The lugs flare outward. Case is in mint+ condition.

Original untouched dial is matte silver but with a champagne patina, applied hour markers including ‘3’, ‘6’ and ‘9’ and subsidiary seconds dial. Original golden baton hands. Dial and hands are original and mint. Dial is in perfect condition.

Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 9’’’ 90 and is a formed movement (rectangular shape to fit the case). Movement has 18 jewels, is adjusted for heat, cold and isochronism and in 5 position and is stamped with the Geneva Seal.

Watch is on a new modern hand sewn Patek Philippe crocodile strap with 18k Patek tang buckle. Watch will be delivered with its Extract from the Archives showing an original sales date of March 15, 1951.
