Description
If you like gold watches, then you will love wearing this 1970 Rolex Datejust 1803 in solid 18k gold with matching and original 18k Rolex Jubilee bracelet with enough links to fit up to an 8 inch wrist. The blue dial with golden roman numerals is insanely nice looking on this watch.
The 36mm gold case has a fluted bezel and tall sitting acrylic crystal and original screw down crown operating perfectly. Being a Datejust, it’s no surprise that you will find the date displayed under the Cyclops at 3 o’clock. Movement is the Rolex Caliber 1570 with automatic winding and date.
The Caliber 1570 is the most accurate large series production automatic movement ever, with many movements still keeping time to within one or two seconds per day after 30 years. The watch shows some wear and the bracelet has light stretch, but I’m still going to grade it as mint because the watch presents so beautifully.
