Description
Limited to 2000 pieces, the IWC Portuguese 3714 chronograph Laureus special limited edition charity watch has a unique blue dial and the case back is engraved with “Laureus Sport for Good Foundation & IWC” and a picture of a child playing with a ball and a dog, along with the watch’s serial number and limited edition number. The watch is unavailable from IWC or its dealers and this is one of the last new Laureus Portuguese watches anywhere.
If you have never seen a Portuguese watch case, their fit and finish is second to none. Alternating between polished and brushed stainless steel surfaces, with round pump style chronograph pushers, domed sapphire crystal, signed IWC crown, and the limited edition Laureaus for Sports case back, this case is a true beauty. Dimensions are perfect too, at 40.9mm diameter by 12.3mm thick.
The blue dial with applied Arabic numerals and embossed minutes and seconds chapter, leaf hands, and chronograph 30 minutes totalizer subdial and seconds subdial, with red highlights, is reserved for this Laureaus limited edition watch.
Movement is the automatic winding IWC Caliber 79350 with 25 jewels and beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Strap is dark blue IWC crocodile with stainless steel IWC tang buckle.
