Description
Among this watch’s many charms are its unpolished solid 18k gold case with screw down pushers and its rare and delectable black sigma dial. It truly doesn’t get any better than this!
Original solid 18k gold case has a deep patina on the gold on the crown side witnessing that this watch has never been polished. Case does have surface noise, evidencing it has been carefully worn, but this is far outweighed by its factory original full metal state. Original solid gold bezel with engraved Units per Hour scale. Plastic crystal. Serial number 9323XXX dates production to 1986.
Original, untouched and highly collectable black Sigma dial with applied golden hour markers and original hands. Contrasting gold subdials, which are sunken and with concentric guilloche. Dial is in mint condition.
Original Rolex manual winding Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted in 3 positions. Column wheel construction. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Movement is clean and running great.
Horween Sheel Cordovan new strap with gold plated Rolex buckle. We can also offer the watch on an 18k gold Rolex Oyster bracelet, for an additional amount, if the buyer wishes (and we will include the strap with our compliments).
