Description
Girard Perregaux received the license to make Ferrari watches in the 1990s. Their Pour Ferrari lineup came to encompass many variations. This reference 8020 chronograph is basic but really a beautiful wristwatch.
Girard Perregaux created a massive, masculine case, which was used throughout the Ferrari model line. This case is mirror polished stainless steel with dimensions of 38mm diameter by 12.9mm thick. Crystal is slightly domed sapphire. Chronograph pushers are round pump style and highly polished. Case back is secured by 7 screws.
Dial is yellow with Ferarri horse, date at 4 o’clock, arabic numerals and luminous hands, and three subdials: constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour chronograph subdials. The red ‘60’, ‘15’, ‘30’ and ‘45’ touches are subtle, but make for an extra sporty, extra great looking dial.
Movement is the automatic winding Girard Perregaux Caliber 2280 with 57 jewels, power reserve of 44 hours, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and fine adjusted by hand..
Strap is a high quality Audemars Piguet black crocodile with steel tang buckle.
