Description

This is one of the most elegant watches ever - the Patek Philippe Calatrava in platinum with silver dial and sublime dauphine hands

Case is solid platinum with dimensions of 34mm diameter by 8.7mm thick. Slightly domed sapphire crystal and screw-down case back. The case body and lugs are polished while the caseback is brush finished. The case lines are sleek, modern and elegant.

Dial is matte silver with applied white gold hour markers with a double marker at 12 o'clock. The dial also features white gold dauphine hands, a center sweep seconds hand (which is pretty unusual on a Calatrava) and a date display at 3 o'clock. There is also an embossed minutes chapter. Movement is the automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315 SC with 30 jewels, six bridges, 224 individual parts, 48 hour power reserve and stamped with the Geneva Seal.

The reference 3998 is one of the most elegant Calatravas ever made, in my opinion. There is a rich and warm hue to the platinum case, silver dial and the hands. This reference has been discontinued for several years. This watch is in mint condition and will be delivered with Patek box.
