Description
The Watch Gods were smiling, when Rolex started making Daytonas. This reference 6241 Cosmograph Daytona is 14k gold and in mint, original condition. The gold case and black bezel insert and black dial make an arrestingly great looking watch.
Original 14k gold case measures 37mm diameter by 13.3mm thick. Crystal is acrylic. The 6241 bezel features an insert that is clear acrylic over a black background with the white Units per Hour scale underneath. The scale is from ‘50’ to ‘200’ and the insert in this watch is very clean. The original bezel is also free from marks. The screw down crown and pump style chronograph pushers are all working great.
Original black dial features applied golden hour markers, contrasting gold color subdials with guilloche and original hands. Condition of the dial is untouched and mint.
Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 722 with 17 jewels, adjusted to three positions and with column wheel construction. This movement is running fine and is perfectly clean.
Original 14k gold USA made Rolex Jubilee bracelet with rounded links is in mint to mint+ condition with moderate stretch and will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist.
This is a rare collectable vintage Cosmograph Daytona that looks great.
