Description
I love this watch. It was purchased in 1986, as show on the papers, directly from Rolex New York by “CHEV-PONTIAC CANADA GRP”. The Oyster case and Jubilee bracelet are 14k gold and still in new condition. Whichever top Chevrolet executive received this watch never put it on his wrist, that’s for sure. The bracelet is even full-length and will fit an 8.25 inch wrist.
Original 14k gold case measures 34mm in diameter by 12.8mm thick. Bezel is smooth. Screw down crown works perfectly. Acyrlic crystal is pristine. Case back is engraved with Chevrolet logo. Case back has the watch’s full serial number engraved. Model number in between the lugs is ‘15007’ and the serial number is 9110XXX.
Original dial is champagne with applied hour markers, date at 3 o’clock, and original hands.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3035 with quick-set date and C.O.S.C. Chronometer certification. Movement is running great.
The 14k gold Rolex Jubilee bracelet is original to the watch, full-length, and really very beautiful. Zero stretch, and like the rest of the watch basically brand new despite being 25 years old.
This collectable Chevrolet Pontiac presentation Rolex will be delivered with original Rolex box, hang tag and papers. |
