Description
The Calatrava is the most elegant watch in existence. Patek makes sure there is a Calatrava for everyone’s particular taste, with many subtly different cases, dials and hands. This Calatrava reference 3796 nails the classical elegance with its hobnail bezel, snow white dial with roman numerals, black baton hands and subsidiary seconds dial. Of course, the gold case on black strap is the quintessence of elegance.
Solid 18k gold case has dimensions of 31mm diameter by an astonishingly thin 6.6mm height. Slightly domed sapphire crystal. Hobnail bezel. Top surfaces of the case are polished while the case sides are brush finished. Crown is signed with the Calatrava Cross.
Porcelain dial is white with roman numerals, black baton hands and subsidiary seconds dial.
Patek Philippe manual winding Caliber 215 with 18 jewels, adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions, and stamped with the Geneva Seal.
Original vintage black leather Patek strap with original 18k gold Patek tang buckle.
