Description
Here is a rare complete, early Rolex reference 1675 GMT Master. This watch has its original box, Guarantee paper, Your Rolex Oyster booklet with punched serial number amd even the original Bureaux Suisses Chronometre Certificate. The watch itself is killer nice, with faded Pepsi bezel, original gilt dial, and in great condition. It’s all here!
Original stainless steel case measures 39.5mm diameter by 11.8mm thick. Crystal is plastic. Original bezel has original insert in faded blue and red. Lugs are fat and uniform. Original screw down crown works perfectly. Case is easily mint.
Serial number is 1369XXX which dates production to 1966. Inside case back has a date code of ‘IV.65’.
Original untouched black dial with gilt print and date at 3 o’clock. Original hands. Dial is in mint condition and patina is uniform and the perfect color.
Original automatically winding Rolex Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions and to temperature. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet is Rolex riveted Oyster reference 7206 with 12 links. Bracelet date code is ‘4 67’, which leads me to conclude that this is the original bracelet sold with the watch. Bracelet is in excellent condition, with some stretch which is impossible to avoid after so long. The vast majority of riveted Oyster bracelets from 1967 are long gone by now. |
