Description
Rolex really knows how to make a beautiful watch. The GMT is one of their archetypal watches, and this 18k and stainless steel reference 1675 has that special look that makes this watch “pop”.
Original steel and gold case measures 40mm diameter by 12.5mm thick. Plastic crystal. Solid 18k gold original bezel in mint condition, as is the all black insert with 24 hour scale. Solid gold original screw down crown working perfectly. The lugs on this watch are very fat and uniform.
Original black “nipple” dial with pyramid style hour markers, applied golden Rolex crown, golden text, original golden hands and date at 3 o’clock. There is very fine spotting throughout the dial, and my intuition tells me that the color may begin mellowing to a deep brown.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions and to temperature. Movement is immaculately clean, is running well, and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet is Rolex 18k gold and steel Jubilee with vintage clasp, light stretch, and enough links to fit up to an 8.25 inch wrist.
