Description
My favorite aspect of collecting Rolex watches is finding interesting dials. Rolex has produced a dizzyingly diverse assortment of dials over the years, from using meteors, minerals and, in the case of Stella dials, enamel. Rolex saved their most interesting dials for the Day Date model, which is also commonly called a “President”. This particular Day Date has an oxblood red diamond Stella dial.
Original solid 18k gold case measures 36mm diameter by 11.9mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. Crown screws down. Solid gold fluted bezel. Case has its full metal and is in mint condition.
Original oxblood red Stella enamel dial with 8 round diamond hour markers and two baguette diamond hour markers. Full day display at 12 o’clock and date at 3 o’clock. Dial is in perfect condition and is beautiful.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3055 with 27 jewels, adjusted in 5 positions and to temperature. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Original Rolex solid gold President bracelet with invisible clasp in mint condition.
Stella dials are very rare and this watch is fantastic looking and very collectable.
