First of all, Daniel Roth is an elite brand which produces only a small number of watches each year. Known mostly for their complicated watches, Daniel Roth produced this simple automatic watch and called it “Sport”. The bracelet has a unique pattern similar to Clous de Paris.

Second, this watch is a solid gold behemoth, weighing in at 196 grams. Bracelet is thick and will fit an 8 inch wrist comfortably.

Solid 18k gold case has Daniel Roth’s famous double ellipse case shape. Dimensions are 37mm long by 36mm wide by 9.2mm thick. Front and display back crystals are sapphire. There is a scratch on the crystal, but otherwise the case is mint.

Dial is a great looking combination of silver and grey. Grey area has vertical guilloche. “DANIEL ROTH” is engraved at the very top of the dial in gold. There is a brushed silver arc with roman numerals and tiny applied luminous markers. Hands are blued. There is a date at 6 o’clock.

Movement is an automatic winding Daniel Roth caliber with 27 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions.

This is a great looking, elite quality watch, in which Daniel Roth definitely did not scrimp on the gold. Last US Retail of this now discontinued watch was $34,700.
