Description
Here is a very clean and mint Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 6239 with silver dial and Rolex papers. The 6239 was the first Daytona and it’s design is iconic.
Original stainless steel case measures 37.5mm diameter by 13.7 thick. Crystal is domed plastic. Original polished steel bezel has engraved Units per Hour scale from ‘60’ to ‘300’. Original screw down crown and round pump style chronograph pushers function perfectly and all chronograph functions reset crisply and accurately to their zero positions.
Original silver dial with contrasting black subdials is in mint, perfect condition as are the original hands. Subdials are sunken and have concentric guilloche. Subdials display constant seconds, chronograph 30 minute totalizer and chronograph 12 hour totalizer. Applied hour markers with adjacent luminous tritium dots.
Original Rolex manual winding Caliber 722 with 17 jewels and featuring column wheel construction. Movement is immaculate and running great.
