This is a particularly good looking vintage Calatrava from the early 1950s in extra clean and mint condition.
Original solid 18k gold case measures 34.5mm diameter by 9.7mm thick with screw back, domed plastic crystal and original 18k crown. The case is quite massive for its period and has polished finish throughout. The screw back is massive and has a personalized engraving. There is an inner movement cap. The upper right lug has a ding in it, which is not visible when wearing the watch. Case is in mint condition.
Original untouched and beautiful silver dial features applied golden hour markers, embossed minutes chapter, subsidiary seconds dial and awesome original dauphine hands with inlaid luminous.
Original manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 12-400 with 18 jewels and adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions. Movement is double stamped with the Geneva Seal, is clean and running strong.
