Description
I can’t describe this watch better than to say it’s simply a classic, mint condition, 100% original, desirable and collectable and beautiful vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona.
The 6262 is one of the rarest Daytonas ever, since it was only manufactured in 1970.
Original case is stainless steel with Units per Hour bezel, original (and working great) screw down crown, plastic crystal and round pump style chronograph pushers. Case has some signs of wear, but it is minimally if ever polished with full, even lugs. Dimensions are 36.5mm diameter by 13.5mm thick.
Original untouched silver dial with contrasting black subdials, with “DAYTONA” in red, applied hour markers and original hands.
Original Rolex manual winding Caliber 727 with 17 jewels, adjusted in 3 positions and with column wheel construction.
Bracelet is a very clean riveted Rolex Oyster with 13 links.
