Description
I dare say, this is the nicest Rolex GMT we have ever seen. Not only is this watch insanely good looking, it’s also highly collectable: a no crown guards pre- one million serial number 1675 GMT Master in 18k gold. Serial number 996XXX dates watch to 1963 and this watch is in mint+ condition.
Original solid 18k gold Oyster case with no crown guards measures 39mm diameter by 12mm thick. Crystal is plastic. Original gold crown screws down. Original solid 18k bezel is bi-directional. Take a look at the original brown bezel, now faded (hence “ghost”) into a sublime masterpiece!
Original brown “nipple dial” in mint condition with date display at 3 o’clock. Original early gold baton hands.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1560 with 26 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions and to temperature. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer and is running well.
Bracelet is mint+ condition 18k gold Rolex riveted Oyster with 12 links and folding clasp.
If you are a city dweller and have to traverse car traffic as a pedestrian, or are a commuter driving around, please remember to only stare at this watch when you are safe from oncoming traffic! It’s that nice!
