Description
The Hublot Big Bang is, well, Big. At 44.5mm diameter it’s big. The Big Bang is a Big success for Hublot thanks to its unlimited appeal among watch collectors and non-collectors alike. On the wrist it’s Big, bordering on huge in a good way. It’s at once futuristic and highly sporty with unmistakable quality.
Stainless steel case with brush finish which keeps it somewhat subtle, as does the skeleton treatment of the dial. Black composite resin mid-case and inlays in the crown and chronograph pushers. At 14.7mm thick, this is a massive and robust timepiece. Water resistant to 100 meters.
Dial is both skeletonized and matte black. The black parts are the same composite resin used in the case. There are applied luminous hour markers and large skeletonized luminous hands. The three dials are for constant seconds, chronograph 30 minute and 12 hour totalizers. There is a date window between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock.
Movement is the automatic winding Hublot Caliber HUB4200 with 27 jewels, skeletonized tungsten winding rotor, 42 hour power reserve and rhodium plated bridges.
