This 6536 is literally the nicest vintage Submariner 6536 in the world. It is original and yes, it is New Old Stock. It is an incredible watch and an incredible opportunity for collectors.
Original stainless steel case is in new condition in spite of its 57 years of life. Original bezel and plastic crystal. Original screw down crown operates perfectly. Serial number is 398XXX and inside case back shows a ‘1 59’ date code along with ‘6536’.
Original untouched and mind-bogglingly nice gilt gloss dial which is as fresh and new as the day it was case in the watch in 1959.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1030 with 25 jewels and adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. Movement is pristine and running.
Rolex stretch Oyster bracelet with date code ‘1 58’ which is original to the watch and as clean and mint as the watch.
It does not get better than this watch, if you are a vintage Rolex collector.
