Every time I see a watch with dauphine hands, my brain registers a little jolt of pleasure. When the dauphine hands are rose gold, the sensation doubles.
The case on this beauty is modern and straightforward, with its long lugs, broad bezel and chunky shape. All of the top facing surfaces of the watch are polished, while the case sides are brush finished. Crystal is sapphire. The crown is signed with the Calatrava Cross. Dimensions are 30.5mm diameter, 38.3mm from lug tip to lug tip, and 7.3mm thick.
Dial is silver with matte finish, with applied rose gold hour markers and embossed rose gold minutes chapter, subsidiary seconds dial and those scrumptious rose gold dauphine hands.
Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 215 with 18 jewels, adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions, and stamped with the Geneva Seal.
Watch is on new black alligator Patek Philippe strap with 18k rose gold Patek Philippe tang buckle.
This watch has original Patek box and papers (dated July 27, 1992) and is in mint condition.
