Talk about a find! This very collectable automatic winding screw back Calatrava in 18k rose gold from circa 1962 not only has original Patek certificate and Patek box, it has also recently been serviced by Patek Philippe. It can’t really get any better!
Original solid 18k rose gold case measures 33mm diameter by 9mm thick. The case back screws down onto the case body, which was Patek’s successful attempt at creating its first truly water and humidity resistant watch case. Original crown is signed.
Original untouched matte silver dial with applied rose gold indices, original rose gold baton hands and subsidiary seconds dial. Dial has some aging.
Original automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 27-460 with 37 jewels, balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions and double-stamped with the Geneva Seal. Large 18k winding rotor. Movement is pristine and running.
