The Day Date is Rolex’s top of the line watch. Displaying the day of the week below 12 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock, this model also became known as the President because the watch was worn by numerous American Presidents.

Original Malachite dial shows full day display and date display. Malachite is a mineral. Rolex creates each dial by taking a slice of the mineral and cutting out the dial and then bringing it to a Rolex level of finish. Yes, all malachite is green, but each dial has different striations and patterns. The net result is that every Rolex malachite dial is unique.
Unpolished original solid 18k gold case measures 36mm diameter by 13mm thick. Original screw down crown works perfectly. Sapphire crystal. Original solid gold fluted bezel, like the rest of the case, is in pristine condition.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3055 with 27 jewels and adjusted to five positions and to temperature. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer and is in perfect condition. This movement allows for quicksetting the date.
