Description
Here is a mint condition 100% authentic vintage Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Daytona chronograph with the rarer dial with red “Daytona”, screw down crown and chronograph pushers, and black bezel. They don’t get more classic than this watch.
Stainless steel case is 38mm diameter by 13mm thick. Original crown and chronograph pushers work perfectly. Crystal is plastic and perfectly clear. Original black bezel is very clean with Units per Hour scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’. Case is in mint condition.
Authentic untouched rare black dial has applied hour markers, sunken contrasting silver subdials with guilloche, “Daytona” in red and original hands. The dial and hands are in perfect condition: mint+.
Original manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to 3 positions. This caliber features column wheel construction. Condition is pristine and running.
Serial number 5503XXX dates production to 1978. Inside case back is engraved ‘6263’.
Bracelet is Rolex USA riveted Oyster with 1978 date code making this the original bracelet.
