Piaget may be known primarily as a jewelry brand, but they make really nice watches. Unlike all of the other jewelry brands, Piaget makes its own movements. You have to admire that!
This watch is fantastic. It’s ultra thin for an automatic watch at an astonishingly thin 5.5mm by 34mm diameter. Sapphire crystal. The entirely of the watch has a bark finish, but the integral bracelet is actually constructed from brick-links. The wearable length of this watch is 8.25 inches, which means the bracelet has never been cut.
Dial repeats the bark theme but with applied white gold hour markers, mirror finished white gold dauphine hands and white gold framed date window. Dial is signed PIAGET Automatic.
Movement is the Piaget Caliber 12 PCI with 30 jewels and 24k micro-rotor construction. The micro-rotor construction is mandated for such a thin case.
Watch is surprisingly hefty for an ultra-thin at 105 grams. Condition is new old stock and watch will be delivered with Piaget box.
