In our opinion, people should collect vintage Rolex Day Date 1803s like they collect Swatch watches. There are so many interesting dials and different case metals… and they’re all beautiful too.
The Day Date was and is only made in precious metals, in this case a 36mm yellow gold case with plastic crystal, screw down crown (operating perfectly), fluted gold bezel, automatic winding Chronometer certified Rolex Caliber 1556 with 26 jewels, and gold “Buckley” dial that has applied golden hour markers and golden hands.
