Description
The Thunderbird Datejust, meaning the bezel is an engine-turned count-up timing bezel that rotates, is the most collectable vintage Datejust. The original 18k bezel is in mint condition and has crisp serrations and arabic numerals in relief.
Original case measures 36mm in diameter by 12mm thick. Screw down 18k gold crown operates perfectly. Bezel turns as it should. Plastic crystal.
Original silver pie pan dial has applied golden hour markers, original golden baton hands and date display at 3 o’clock. Dial is in mint condition.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 movement with 26 jewels and adjusted to five positions and temperature. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Movement is clean and running.
Watch is on new custom suede strap with steel Rolex buckle.
