Description
Ah, the first Rolex that I ever bought brand new from an authorized dealer was a white dial Explorer II. The white dial is bright white, if there is such a thing, with luminous hour markers and hands, date at 3 o’clock and that great looking red 24 hour hand with the luminous arrow head. I remember when watch nerds got all excited right around the year 2000, When Rolex started using solid end links on the Explorer II.
Unpolished stainless steel case is 40mm diameter by 12.5mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. Screw down crown operates perfectly. Bezel is engraved with 24 hour scale. Water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3185 which is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Bracelet is Rolex Oyster fliplock with solid end links and 13 links.
Watch is like new condition.
