Description
Here is a legendary Rolex Cosmograph Daytona - the Fuerza Aerea del Peru - which is the Peruvian Air Force issued chronograph to superior officers. This stainless steel model 6263 looks never polished and dates to 1974.
Original stainless steel case is 37mm diameter by 14mm thick with sharp edged original bezel with original black Units per Hour insert. Original screw down crown and chronograph pushers working perfectly. Plastic crystal. This case appears never polished and mint. Serial number 4017XXX is engraved in its usual spot between the lugs and also on the inside of the case back along with '6263'. The outside case back surface has FUERZA AEREA DEL PERU engraved and the engraving is deep and not diminished by polishing.
Original untouched black Sigma dial with contrasting silver subdials with concentric guilloche. Dial is mint as are the original hands.
Original Rolex manual winding Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and featuring column wheel construction. Movement is clean and running.
Rolex heavy link Oyster bracelet with folding clasp in mint+ condition.
