Description
The Patek Philippe reference 3574 is so rare that it does not even appear in Reardon’s “PATEK PHILIPPE IN AMERICA REFERENCE GUIDE” which is the go-to reference book on Patek watches. A handful of 3574s have appeared at auction, but never with this dial which is embossed throughout with the Patek Philippe/Calatrava Cross. This watch is a piece unique.
Original stainless steel case with smooth steel bezel on brushed steel mid-body and screw-back. Tonneau shaped case, which is a typical 1970’s case shape. Case is 40mm long by 35mm wide by 7.6mm thick. Acrylic crystal.
Original never before seen silver dial with embossed Patek/Calatrava cross pattern throughout, with applied white gold hour markers and hands with black inlay.
Movement is the Patek manual winding Caliber 23-300 PM with 18 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions. Movement is stamped twice with the Geneva Seal. Movement is pristine and running.
Watch is on black Patek Philippe strap with steel buckle.
