Description
Here is an affordable classic early 1970’s vintage Patek Philippe wristwatch. Stainless steel is an unusual case metal for Patek Philippe outside of the Nautilus and Aquanaut models. This model 3579 features a stainless steel tonneau shaped case and one of Patek’s best movements.
Stainless steel case with thin step-down bezel measures 35mm long by 33mm wide by 7mm thick. Case back screws down into the case, which is a case style used by Patek when casing their better movements, since the screw back ensures protection from water and humidity intrusion. Sapphire crystal and signed crown.
Original untouched silver dial with brushed sunburst finish, applied white gold hour markers and original baton hands.
Patek Philippe manual winding Caliber 23-300 PM with 18 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions and double stamped with the Geneva Seal. Movement is clean and running.
Watch is on new generic strap. Condition is mint.
