Description
While you will find some of these round Quantieme Perpetuals available for sale in 18k yellow gold, and very occasionally one in 18k rose gold… you will never find another one with original Mother of Pearl dial. This is an outstanding wristwatch both horologically and in the looks department!
Case is solid 18k rose gold and 36mm diameter by a very slender 8mm thin, particularly and especially for an automatic winding watch. Case is mint with stepped bezel and sapphire front and display back crystals. The case back is engraved with AUDEMARS PIGEUT NO. 26X SWISS MADE QUANTIEME PERPETUAL AUTOMATIQUE.
Original and rare (custom order probably) mother of pearl dial with applied rose gold indicies and displays for month, date, moonphase, age of moon and day. Rose gold baton hands.
Automatic winding, very slim, AP Caliber 2120 with 38 jewels and adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions. Winding rotor is skeletonized and hand-engraved and has a 21k gold segment for increased mass and improved winding efficiency. Once again, this is a very thin automatic movement particularly for a complicated movement with centrally mounted winding rotor (versus mini-rotor normally found in thin calibers).
Black alligator strap with 18k rose AP tang buckle and AP papers.
