Here is a real collectable treasure… a Mark 1 model 5512 Submariner with unpolished original case with pointed crown guards and original two-line gilt chapter ring meters-first dial.
Original stainless steel case has super fat lugs and look at the bevels: unpolished! Pointed crown guards. Domed plastic crystal. Screw down crown operating perfectly. Serial number 764XXX dates production to 1962.
Original black dial with gilt print, chapter ring and meters-first depth rating. Dial is in mint condition as are the hands.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1560 with 25 jewels, clean and running. When you look at a 50+ year old dive watch like this, and see how clean and perfect the dial and movement are, after so many years, you appreciate how well the Oyster case does its job.
