Description
I am not sure where to start with describing this increadible watch. The case is never polished and is in new condition. The dial is the single nicest dial we have ever seen, and as you can see has had a profound color change to the point of it being a perfectly uniform brown. The applied golden hour markers and hands are set off sublimely by the brown dial and the blue bezel insert. Add to all of this: the watch is complete with original Rolex box and punch papers!
Original never polished solid 18k gold case is 40mm diameter by 13.9mm thick. Condition is new. Plastic crystal. Serial number 3332XXX dates watch to 1972.
Original movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels, adjusted to temperature and 5 positions. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. As I have said many times before, in my opinion the Rolex 15XX calibers are the best-ever serial production automatic calibers from any manufacture.
Bracelet is solid 18k gold Rolex Oyster with flip-lock clasp with zero stretch.
Original Rolex papers dated May 18, 1974.
