Description
Here is a one of a kind vintage Audemars Piguet in new old stock condition. Check out the bezel: it is engine-turned and with hobnail edge. These intricate engravings, along with the rest of the case, are undisturbed by any polishing over the past 45 years! And the dial: the color is somewhere at the intersection of grey and blue; it is a mesmerizing dial with subtle radially brushed finish.
Case is solid 18k gold with dimensions of 35mm diameter by a mere 6.7mm thin. This is considered an ultra-thin case for a watch housing an automatic winding movement. For me the bezel is remarkably attractive. The intricacy of this kind of work can only done by a skilled artisan’s hands.
Dial is original and untouched and a striking and unique color between grey and blue. Signed, simply, AUDEMARS PIGUET GENEVE AUTOMATIC with original golden baton hands.
