Description
Here is a shockingly well-preserved and complete with original papers vintage Rolex Bubble Back from 1945. We had the movement serviced in October 2014, so this watch is ready for decades of future service, looking absolutely fantastic while providing accurate time.
Case is 14k rose gold in mint condition, with dimensions of 32mm diameter by 13mm thick. Smooth 14k rose gold bezel, domed plastic crystal, and original domed stainless steel case back which is why these watches are called “Bubble Back”.
Silver dial with applied golden arabic numerals and original hands in mint condition.
Automatic winding Rolex Caliber 9 ¾’’’ with 19 jewels and self-compensating balance spring. As the dial attests, this movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Remarkably, the original Chronometer Certificate is included from 1945!
Watch is on rose gold Rolex Oyster bracelet. Watch is accompanied by Rolex box and amazingly complete 1945 Rolex paper set.
